Appliance error-code dataset
The core of FaultCodeLab as a machine-readable file: 94source-cited, confidence-rated error codes across the covered brands and appliance types. Free to reuse under a Creative Commons licence with attribution.
What is included
Each record carries the citable facts only: brand, appliance type, the code as shown on the display, its cautiously worded short meaning, severity, confidence level, the official source URLs it is verified against, and the date those sources were last checked. Every record also links back to its full page.
Safety guidance — first checks, stop-use boundaries, and when to call a technician — is intentionally not in the file and stays on the website, where it can carry its full context.
